THE BRIEF
This was a project for a new business. Lick is an ice cream trailer that opened up in summer 2022,
and it is located in Picnic Park by Malahide Marina, Malahide, Co. Fingal.
I was asked to design the logo, illustrations and a few stickers through fun, bright,
upbeat looking images and letters.

PROJECT PLAN
I was commissioned this while juggling a few other jobs, the timeline for this brief was quite
tight and I had to make the most out of what had scheduled.
The overall days taken to work on this were about 8 over the course of two months.
I spent some time discussing with the client what the goals were, so I created a plan
to follow, to stick to the deadline. I also ensured that, at the end of each working day, I would create update reports to share with the client, so that any issues or changes would be addressed straight away during the next step of the development.

ILLUSTRATIONS
I always start on paper, I find it to be the best way to get your initial thoughts down quickly
rather than jumping to the computer screen and design.

Some drawings were specifically requested by the client (Ying and Yang and the mouth),
so I worked as directed. I have then drawn a few more options based on sketches
approved by the client.
